On Thursday 12 November our Year 7 & 8 Touch team travelled to Bruce Pullman Park to compete in the annual Auckland championship, having won the Eastern Zone tournament the week prior. They won the Final 2-0 against Northcross Intermediate who they also faced in the pool game and SHC won that game 4-3. We would like to thank the parents who came out to support the team and also to our coaches, Mr Simpson and Mr Doyle for their expertise. All games were played with good focus, fantastic spirit and the team set an exceptional standard of behaviour.
The team consisted of Cameron Bauld, Emmett Connolly, Lachie Henwood, Levi Hicks, Max Morgan, Connor Rapley, Charlie Richardson, Cruiz Simpson, Keanu Simpson, Opeti Sitani, Phillip Soo Choon, Jj Turua, Alapati Tusa Soagia – Captain.
