Inaugurated on 26 November 1909, the Sacred Heart Old Boys Association (SHCOBA) was established to keep boys in contact with each other beyond their graduation from the College. The Association exists to foster comradeship among Old Boys, to strengthen the bond of union between the College and its Old Boys and to promote the interests of the Old Boys and the Association. Every boy who attends Sacred Heart becomes part of the SHC family and shares a lifelong bond. SHCOBA serves as a platform to keep past students informed of developments at the College, as well as achievements of fellow Old Boys in the Church, society, civic, academic, sporting and cultural worlds.
The Old Boys Association play an integral role in supporting the College each year – by donating to the library, College magazine Confortare and annual student scholarships.
News from the College and Old Boys is published in Confortare twice a year shared digitally with Old Boys and the SHC community.
