You can choose to donate to our Capital Projects Fund, our Endowment Fund or our Scholarships Fund through a one-off donation, a recurring gift, a pledge, or other means. Alternatively, you can choose to make an unrestricted donation to be used where it is most needed. All contributions will be acknowledged with a donation tax receipt.
Sacred Heart College is dedicated to providing every student with a nurturing learning environment rich in Marist values and culture. Every gift is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students, teachers and Marist Brothers. Whether you are an Old Boy, staff member, parent, business, non-profit or otherwise, and whether you are located in New Zealand or overseas, there are many ways that you can support the College to ensure this continues to happen.
For information on any of the following ways to donate, contact Kelsen Butler on 021 270 2549 or Lauren Alberino on (09) 529 3743 or [email protected].
Bank transfer
Transferring a gift from your bank account directly to the College is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to give. Bank transfers can be made from New Zealand or overseas.
Bequests
Remembering Sacred Heart College in your Will is a way to leave a lasting legacy that transcends time and benefits future generations. Bequests can be in the form of cash, shares, real estate, or personal property such as art or antiques, and distributions are usually made when family and dependents have been provided for.
Unrestricted bequests will usually be applied to the area of greatest need at the time, such as an evolving important project. Alternatively, your bequest may be applied to a specific area of your choice, such as academic scholarships, teacher support, Marist Brothers welfare, or future capital projects.
Matching gifts
If you work for an organisation with a large number of employees, your employer may have a Matching Gift Programme. This means that if you give a donation to the Development Foundation, that your employer will match your donation (in whole or in part). So, if you are thinking of donating, find out about this and then you can maximise your impact.
Corporate Philanthropy and Sponsorship
Businesses and corporations - large and small - can play an important role in helping the College to advance its strategic goals and to continue to provide an outstanding Marist educational experience for our students. Opportunities could include sponsoring scholarships, supporting arts & culture initiatives, contributing to capital projects, sponsorship of events, or in-kind donations.
Other
You may also contribute by gifting cash, shares, artworks or real estate, assigning income from an investment or a gift in kind.
