Rugby Prizegiving
On Wednesday 25 September, the Annual School Rugby Prizegiving took place. Around 400 people were in attendance, made up of students, school staff, Marist Brothers, parents, and families. Old Boys Jadin Kingi (2020) and Blake Makiri (2019) were on hand to talk to students and hand out prizes.
Congratulations to some of the major winners on the evening:
- Recognition of Service Award: Oliver Welch-Peters
- Year 7 and 8 Player of the Year: Elo Rauga
- Junior Grade Player of the Year: Ammon Lilomaiava
- 1st XV Forward of the Year: Toby Grace
- 1st XV Back of the Year: Liston Vaka’uta
- 1st XV Player of the Year: Cohen Norrie
- Coach of the Year: Mr Asiata
- Team of the Year: 2A
We also awarded our 1st XV Physio and Old Boy Cam Simmiss with a service award. Cam has served the 1st XV for 10 years!
