Mother and Son Mass & Breakfast
On Friday, 8 May the Chapel was again full for the second of our Mother & Son Mass and Breakfasts, timed for the month of Mary, May and Mothers’ Day. Mums or significant women in the lives of our boys welcomed the opportunity to be with their boys, pray with them, share a blessing from one to the other, eat with them, ending with a presentation of a flower and a photo-shoot, thanks to Br Anthony.
Many thanks to Fr Stephen, Mr Walsh, Br John, Mr Bacon, Mr O’Donnell, and the young men involved in the liturgy. Special thanks also to Mrs Caroline Fraser for sharing her pearls of wisdom and reflections as a parent. As one mother later commented, “It is these sorts of events which make Sacred Heart College such a special place to be and a privilege to be a part of.”
