Year 7 Outdoor Education 2026
Year 7 Outdoor Education
This week, our Year 7 students stepped outside the classroom to take part in an exciting three-day outdoor education programme run by Bigfoot Adventures. Throughout the experience, students participated in a variety of group challenges and activities designed to develop teamwork, problem-solving skills, resilience, and confidence while learning new skills.
Activities included team games, kayaking, raft building, mountain biking, archery, rock climbing, and an orienteering challenge at Churchill Park. The boys embraced each challenge with enthusiasm and supported one another throughout the programme.
A special mention goes to our Year 13 sports leadership students, who assisted the Bigfoot staff and teachers across the three days. Their patience, encouragement, and support of the Year 7 students were fantastic to see and helped create a positive experience for everyone involved.
Overall, it was a fantastic few days of fun, learning, and connection for our newest students.
