Scholarship Success 2024
In 2024 Sacred Heart College gained a total of 45 scholarships, including four at outstanding level. These came from 27 boys across 14 different subjects and from boys in Years 11, 12 and 13. Standout performances were:
David Bergin (Year 13): 4 scholarships
William O'Connell (Year 13): 3 scholarships including 1 at outstanding level
Jacob Fairweather (Year 13): 3 scholarships
Daniel Doherty (Year 12): 3 scholarships including 1 at outstanding level
Oscar Hoare Delgado (Year 12): 3 scholarships
We had 4 boys in Year 11 who gained a scholarship each, and of these, Christian Twemlow gained his at outstanding level.
English and Religious Studies gained our greatest numbers per subject with 8 each, Biology had 6 with 1 at outstanding, Classical Studies and Geography had 4 each, History 3, including 1 at outstanding and Technology gained 2 at outstanding level.
