Premier Concert Band
Registrations for Premier Concert Band are open and students can sign up for sudition by filling in the form below. Auditions are already taking place and students will be notified of the audition times upon registration.
Preparation:
- Solo of music own choice - no more than 2 minutes
- Scales below tongued and slurred
C Instruments F, Bb, Eb, Ab
Bb Instruments G, C, F and Bb
Eb Instruments D, G, C and F
F Instruments C, F, Bb and Eb
Regular rehearsals will be at 7.30am on Tuesday mornings starting on Tuesday, 3 February.
Senior Choir
Registrations for Senior Choir auditions will be from 28 January to 2 February. Auditions will be on 2 and 4 February. Students will be notified via email of the audition times. If students are accepted into the choir they will be notified by Wednesday, 4 February.
Regular rehearsals will be from 3.30pm - 5pm on Wednesdays, starting on 4 February and will be conducted by Miss Lilia Carpinelli. The first choir workshop will be on 15 February from 12.30pm to 4pm.
Junior Choir
Registrations for Junior Choir will be from 28 January to 7 February. Students can sign up in person at the music department or by filling in the form below.
Regular rehearsals will be from 8am to 8.45am on Wednesday mornings, starting on Wednesday 11 February.
Big Band
Registrations for Big Band auditions will be from the 29 January to 2 February. (Please note: current band members do not need to audition). Students can sign up in person at the music department or by filling in the form below.
Auditions for the Big Band will take place during Week 2. Students will be notified of their audition times via email. If students are accepted into the band they will be notified by 6 February.
Regular rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Friday mornings starting on 13 February and will be conducted by Mr Jonny White.
School Of Rock
Registration to join School of Rock will be between 29 January and 7 February. Sign up below
School of Rock will be on Monday afternoons from 3:30pm - 4:30pm and will be led by Mr Rowan Uhe. It is a fantastic opportunity for students wishing to play in a rock or pop band and work towards performances at the School Fair, Walter Kirby, Legends and Rock Quest competitions.
Rehearsals will begin on Monday 9 February.
String Orchestra
Registrations for String Orchestra will be from 28 January to 7 February. Students can sign up in person at the music department or by filling in the form below.
Regular rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Thursday mornings starting on 13 February and will be conducted by Mr Robert Lovie.
Symphonic Band
Registrations for the Sacred Heart College Development Symphonic Band will be from 29 January to 3 February. Students can sign up in person at the music department or by filling in the form below.
Regular rehearsals will be at 7:30am on Thursday mornings starting on 12 February.
Junior and Senior Jazz Combo
Registrations for Jazz Combo auditions will be from 28 January to 5 February. Students can sign up in person at the music department or by filling in the form below.
Regular rehearsals for the Senior Jazz Combo will be from 3:30pm - 4:30pm on Thursday afternoons starting on 12 February and will be led by Mr Jonny White.
